Salento – Italy

One of the part of my country that I love the most: Salento, the very bottom of the very hill of the boot. A land of wind, sea and sun, beautiful in its many different aspects and contrasts: the richness of its culture and the poorness of many of his people who work the land and produce the products that we all love the most. The beauty of its cities, especially Lecce, the baroque city, but the negligence in which they are kept and showed to the rest of the world. The warmth of its people and the inner little contrasts that go between habitants of one city and another one, which are the result of historical conflicts that happened when Italy was still divided in many, many commons.

Salento through my eyes, with all the things that I personally love the most about it and that may not be what people notice at first when they get here but are the true reflection of this tiny, beautiful corner of the planet.
